Mango Loves Lisboa

After the success of its Madrid opening, Mango extended the celebration to another European city: Lisbon. It was in Portugal where, twenty-five years ago, the Spanish firm installed its first foreign point of sale; today, the busiest square of its capital is a privileged witness of the direction the brand has taken. We went there to present the new flagship store; a store with a contemporary aesthetic that enhances the customer experience and embodies the company's vision. International guests gathered for a unique day, designed to celebrate this transformation process in style.

The opening of the store served as the starting signal. Influencers such as Jeanne Damas, Yasmin Sewell, Julia Restoin Roitfeld or Blanca Miró discovered first-hand the details of the enclave, located in the emblematic Eden Theater. Pepi de Boissieau arranged a very careful brunch on minimalist totems, conceived in harmony with the architecture of the building. The space, built in the 1930s and remodeled thanks to a huge investment, brings together the available collections under one roof. Personalities from the sector toured each area, enjoying - in addition - the music of Mayra Andrade and Jon Luz.

It got dark and the fun arrived. The Belmonte Palace, a national monument, hosted the exclusive dinner and subsequent party. The 3,800 tiles decorating the walls were joined by spectacular arrangements by Brumalis, all of which recreated a dreamlike setting. Thousands of candles and lots of roses, disco balls scattered throughout the rooms and floral decorations hanging from the heights. A proposal as romantic as the city, to which celebrities and friends traveled eager to have a good time. And so they did. Seventy attendees tasted the gastronomy of the legendary Pap'Açorda restaurant; later, two hundred and fifty guests gave themselves up to the rhythm of the night. Mayra Andrade and Branko preceded DJ Daniel Baughman, who drove Nuria Val, model Mark Vanderloo, Spanish actor Quim Gutiérrez, Parisian Camille Charrière or English stylist Lucy Williams among many others.
